Shattered Magazine Releases Its Third Issue
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Nov. 16, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ — Shattered Magazine is a new Christian magazine that focuses on sharing personal stories that glorify God. Started through a successful Kickstarter campaign, Shattered has just released its third issue and has experienced a 130% growth rate in subscribers defying all industry odds and expectations.
Currently available for purchase at www.shatteredmagazine.net, this issue is filled with stories of hope, new beginnings and real life during the holidays. It includes stories like Timur’s of how receiving a shoebox from Operation Christmas Child changed his life, how one family found incredible blessings through losing everything in the April 2011 AL tornado outbreak, how Vivien deals with the heartache of losing her son over the holidays, and how our very own Army Wife is making it through the separation of her deployed husband and father of four during this season. Plus it includes a list of gifts that “give back,” tips on decorating for the holidays, delicious holiday recipes from family kitchens and much more.
Started by Rachael Jackson, a former Army Apache helicopter pilot turned publisher, she says, “I want this issue of Shattered to be a source of strength, hope, and encouragement to people struggling this holiday season. These times can be joyous yet difficult for so many, and my wish for them this season would be the healing that comes through a close relationship with Christ as demonstrated in our stories.”
